FIX Android Gallery not working, app crashes, crashing or force closing Samsung Galaxy S4 S5 Note 3
If your gallery app is crashing there are two things you can do that should fix the issue most of the time. One if to clear cache, clear data and Force stop the Gallery app. You will NOT lose any photos since they are stored in a specific folder, not the app. Also the most common culprit is either a corrupt file on the SD card or the Sd card is actually corrupted. That is why if you un-mount the card and reset the gallery app this would work. If so then you can transfer the files from the Sd card to a computer and format the card. The error that usually pops up is Unfortunately Gallery has Stopped.
This will work on the Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy S5 and others.
