Mount Emu Creek
Not far from Hopkins Falls is the The Junction, where traditional owners spear for eels.
During my recon visit for the federal court case a few people had a fire going and where watching the river at the spearing site.
So instead I took a walk up Mount Emu Creek to an outcrop of rocks from which you get a good view of the river and rapids in both directions.
