Behind Bars collaborated with Giancarlo Mancino, who partnered with Sunset Hospitality Group to create a bar station for Giardino Cordusio, an Italian classic cocktail bar in Milan. The concept from Giancarlo and Sunset Hospitality aimed to elevate Giardino Cordusio’s bar to the next level.
Our collaboration with Giancarlo, known for his distinctive "Martini Altar" designs, resulted in a visually striking and functional bar station at Palazzo Cordusio. A standout feature is the Negroni amphora, a glass-enclosed cooler for aging Negroni cocktails, enhancing the artisanal approach to mixology.
Despite its minimalist design, the bar integrates advanced machinery, plumbing, and electrical systems. Our team ensured technical precision without sacrificing aesthetics, blending modernity with the historic charm of Palazzo Cordusio.
The bar spans 8 meters, based on our undercounter Leon series, and supports multiple bartenders with a complete back line and cutting-edge features. This project underscores Behind Bars Agency's commitment to excellence in bar design.
