Will Freeway Ice plant Root in Water? (Carpibrotus Edulis)
The "Freeway Ice Plant" or "Carpibrotus Edulis" will root in water. It took less than ten days to root.
Cut an ice plant sprig about 6" long. Then cut off several bottom leaves exposing the nodes. It's the nodes that will begin to sprout. After several weeks, you can plant the rooted sprig in a pot or directly in the ground (keep moist).
