While I've done a time lapse of an ordinary Chamomile Comic before, it didn't really include much in the way of scenery. I thought I'd record myself drawing the first panel of this comic since it's an establishing shot with a pretty typical level of detail for the comic's background art, so it'd serve as a good enough example of how I personally build-up a quick background for such panels. This video is about 1 hour's work sped-up by 16x.
