Port de Sóller is located 28 kilometers north of Palma and is known far beyond its borders as the Orange Valley. To this day, around 120,000 orange trees are cultivated in this holiday region. The small port town boasts two stretches of beach covered with fine, white sand that slope gently into the sea. Since the water is largely calm, the town's beaches are ideal for a relaxing family beach holiday. With the construction of the Sóller Railway at the beginning of the 20th century, people and goods could be easily transported to the island's interior. The historic tram, dating from 1922, still transports passengers from the center of Sóller to Port de Sóller and back. A ride through the orange and lemon groves is highly recommended and takes approximately 20 minutes.

The historic tram from 1922 now transports its passengers from the center of Sóller to Port der Sóller and back. A drive through the orange orchards and lemon groves is highly recommended and takes about 20 minutes.
