Islands Crochet Along - Launch
I'm very happy to introduce my upcoming crochet along, the 2024 Islands CAL! whooop whooop! The patterns in this blanket are inspired by the filet crochet heritage here in my native Iceland and the waves and Islands represented in the blanket are sort of a picture of my surroundings here.
The original version is made in all white for the main color and then different types of blues for color B, that makes up the backdrop. So it it's a sort of faux filet crochet, withouth the holes in it, so it makes a beautifully drape for a blanket.
the Islands CAL pattern is available in my Ravelry shop and is 50% off for the whole of August. When you purchase it now, you only get the intro file plus yarn stats, so that you can get ready buying the yarn you need etc. Then on September 1st we officially start the CAL and I'll then add more files to the pattern, including all the charts etc. do check out the pattern to see more info, pics and yarn stats over on Ravelry:
