Battle of the Bodhran - 10 Sample Libraries Compared - Includes Free Options
In this video I look at 10 different sample libraries. A Bodhran is a Celtic frame drum played with a wood tipper. Some are dedicated Bodhran libraries, while others are collections of other instruments that contain a Bodhran or two. Except where noted, all the bodhran are loaded without any plugins or FX applied to them. A limiter is used on the master stereo output to prevent clipping. The volume fader of each bodhran has been adjusted so that each instrument is at a relatively similar LUFS for the demo tracks.
I was given Libre Wave Modern Bodhran in return for a demo. I won a Musio 1 license in a music contest. All other instruments were ones I purchased or were free.
