Tips to make your Icelandic poppies last a long time!
Iceland poppies are known for being short lived in a vase, BUT if picked at the proper time and processed properly they have a surprisingly long vase life, up to a week!
In my tutorial, I’ll show you a few tips to make your Icelandic poppies last a long time so you can enjoy them as long as possible!
🌸remove the outer casing of the poppies
🌸cut the stem ends with pruners (not scissors)
🌸 use an open flame to sear the stem ends for 7 to 10 seconds
🌸 place in clean water (make sure your vase is clean too!)
