Darth Donut: The Empire Bites Back | LOST DUNKIN' COMMERCIAL
This is the last of the Darth Donut tapes I found in the box in the attic. My routine had been to restore the footage in my room and have a laugh at the commercials before posting them to YouTube. This time, I guess I laughed a little louder than usual, because my Dad walked into my room to see what was so funny. When he saw what I was watching, he went nonverbal. I invited him to watch it with me, and he sat down next to me as I rewound it to the beginning. We ended up watching them all, and it was a father-son bonding experience I will not soon forget. My relationship with my Dad was always somewhat strained, and it was awesome that something so seemingly silly could bring us together. I've always had a love of film and media production, and I never knew where it came from until these tapes resurfaced. When I told this to my Dad, he shrugged and said with a smirk: "I am your father."
