This Happens To SCHD Every 6 Years!!
Something magical happens to your investment every 7 years. For SCHD it has happened a little faster, about every 6 years or so. This isn't necessarily because SCHD has been a better than average fund to invest in, but more so because the past decade has been a great time to be invested in the market in general. I believe SCHD is one of the best dividend growth funds on the market. It's a low cost fund with an attractive dividend yield and above average dividend growth history. I also think it will continue to deliver strong returns to patient shareholders that have a long-term outlook.
