President Biden's Motorcade in Rosemount, MN! 11-30-2021
On Tuesday, November 30, 2021, President Biden traveled to Minnesota and the small suburb of Rosemount to make a speech about his "infrastructure" bill. Approximately 75 people were allowed to hear the speech, which was given in the Dakota County Vocational Technical College. The speech, and the grounds to the school, were completely closed to outside visitors and spectators. This speech was really for the media exposure only.
However, President Biden did have to drive from MSP airport to Rosemount, and I planted myself in the likely highway he would travel on. Sure enough, my hunch was correct.
It is still a rare honor to see any President visit your small town, so I enjoyed watching all the security preparation and the actual Presidential motorcade whiz by.
I consider myself a true "independent" voter, so it didn't matter to me if this was President Trump or President Biden (honestly). I would want to see any President, even for a short moment.
I was especially fascinated to see all the "support" vehicles in the motorcade, especially all the high-tech communications and tactical vehicles. Hey, none of them were electric EV vehicles, LOLOL
The local police officers I talked to immediately after the event told me that they had only learned about this event 2 days prior to the President just "showing up". LOL
Obviously, President Biden didn't jump out of his limo to greet us on the side of the road - again, this event was planned for the media only. This was not a "meet and greet".
