Spray Paint Animation - Speed Edit
In this (unpaid) commission project for CinemaSlice.com, I was asked to animate an opening title in the style of a 1970's gang-war films (think 'The Warriors').
I used a font called Barbaric the set the title type. Using the Stroke effect in Adobe After Effect CC, I revealed the text on screen. To help sell the animation, I added additional 'drip' lines, and sequenced their reveals to time with the text reveal.
To further support the spray-paint text effect, I added sound effects in Premiere Pro CC.
