I teach a Critical and Creative Thinking class to teens in our local home school co-op. This week, the kids were tasked with constructing a container to hold a raw egg and keep it from breaking when dropped from increasing heights. Four students reached 9 feet without cracking their eggs, so we moved indoors to a balcony that was about 13 feet high. Two students' eggs remained intact, so they dropped them from the ceiling height, which was about 16-17 feet, and their eggs STILL didn't break. Job well done!
