DIY table for grinding a telescope mirror
Sharing how I made a simple turntable to grind a telescope mirror.
First, I share the mirror kit I bought - 6in plate glass with various carborundum grits. Next, I made a turntable to hold the mirror/tool for grinding, designing the table around a set of used mitre saw support legs that I found in a car boot sale.
I suppose I need to make a start on that mirror grinding project at some point and I'll share the experience....eventually!
