Is DEXTER Possessed? The Dark Passenger Explained
In the Showtime show "Dexter" and it's sequels and spin-offs (Dexter New Blood, Ressurections, and Original Sin) we hear him talk about his "Dark Passenger"... but what is The Dark Passenger and why does Dexter want to commit the crimes we see in the shows?
In this video we will go over the show and the books and analyze the evidence that shows that his Dark Passenger is much darker and deeper than how it looks on the surface. Is his violence a product of a broken psyche or could it be something much darker, deeper, and ancient. As we look over the evidence we will only refer to what we see in the original Dexter show and the first three books of "Jeff Lindsey's" influential world of Dexter morgan as presented in "Darkly Dreaming Dexter", "Dearly Devoted Dexter", and "Dexter in the Dark". We will look over motivations, influences, and the background of this character and what drives him to take out criminals.
