MtG Modern Gameplay - Aggro Hag VS Witches
We're back with a Halloween themed Modern matchup! This week we have Aggro Hag taking on Bogbrew Witch!
The Aggro Hag deck wants to be casting spells that are both black and white to power Nightsky Mimic and Hero of Precinct One. Edge of the Divinity makes this deck shine either by turning Nightsky Mimic into a 7/7 Flyer, or turning Nip Gwyllion into a 4/4 with lifelink. Tidehollow Sculler and Orzhov Charm help keep the dream alive, while several BW removal spells clear the way and power the strategy.
Bogbrew Witch on the other side is at it again, cooking up some slop for the trough. The recipe of which includes Cauldron Familiar, Festering Newt and Foreboding Fruit. She has many cauldrons to choose from, and with cards like Unearth and Call of the Death-Dweller she can keep the stew a brewin! And if all that fails, Archfiend's Vessel summons up Satan to come save the day!
