YARA: THE MOLECULAR DOG TRAIL and CATTANEO'S LIES | True Crime Italy
EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW - According to Ivan Schmidt, one of the leading experts in the training and use of sniffer dogs, we have learned of a disconcerting event that radically changes the position of Dr. Cristina Cattaneo, the forensic pathologist appointed by the Bergamo Prosecutor's Office to investigate the Yara Gambirasio case, whose work led to the arrest and conviction of Massimo Bossetti.
Ivan Schmidt, directly involved in the search, following the discovery of the victim's body, contacted Dr. Cattaneo requesting a small portion of Yara Gambirasio's clothing to perform a sniffer dog test. This test would identify who had come into contact with Yara's body on the day of her death by dispersing the molecules on her clothing. This technique has led to the resolution of numerous missing persons and homicides around the world.
But when Ivan called Dr. Cristina Cattaneo, she falsely claimed that Yara Gambirasio's clothes had been lost because they had liquefied with the girl's body. This lie effectively prevented a scientific procedure that would have provided Massimo Bossetti with a fair trial, the identification of all those responsible, and finally justice for Yara Gambirasio.
With this video, Francesca Bugamelli and her editorial team uncover yet another testimony and further evidence that some people implicated by the Prosecutor's Office deliberately lied or misled the investigation. This further evidence adds to that already discovered and reported in previous videos.
