Backpacking 4 Days/3 Nights In Black Elk Wilderness | First Backpacking Trip
For our first backpacking adventure we chose Black Elk Wilderness within the Black Hills National Forest of South Dakota. We hiked over 25 miles during our journey and setup camp near the trail the three nights we were out there. Our hiking route included Grizzly Creek Trail, Centennial Trail, Willow Creek Trail, and Lost Cabin Trail.
The scenic views offered by the Black Hills were absolutely amazing. From the unique rock formations to views of Black Elk Peak and Mount Rushmore, there was a sight to see around every corner. We hope you enjoy our first backpacking adventure!
