The Olander Haglund method is a SwimRun training method that is developed to improve specific swimrunning skills that are key to perform well in Swimrun races. We call it “the OH method”.
The OH method is especially useful during winter when too cold to practice outdoor swimrunning in open water.
The main constituents in a OH training session is swimming with shoes and SwimRunFins combined with rope jumping, and in between putting on/taking off the fins as quick as possible.
The rope jumping between swims mimic running movements very well and in combination with kicking it boost the legs endurance.
Have a fun SwimRun!
