Deleting Emails from Mailboxes in Microsoft Exchange
The Peznet team has increasingly had the opportunity to support Microsoft 365 environments for our clients, and we were recently requested to recall an email from a known sender that went out in error.
Many users had 5+ emails that matched the initial search criteria, and we didn't want to purge unintended messages from inboxes.
I was impressed watching the team quickly refine a search down to the exact number of emails they were hunting—and that matched the number of users on the distribution list. They were able to search for, troubleshoot, and soft delete the emails within a matter of minutes of receiving the request.
