Filming wildlife is not always easy.
This clip was filmed on location at the Bako National Park in Sarawak, Malaysia to help promote tourism.
The monkeys and other wildlife are free to roam at will on the island.
Looking through the viewfinder you immerse yourself in the subject and do not always fully appreciate the dangers. Thankfully, our guide was on hand to steer this wayward ape with its sharp teeth away from me!
No animals - or indeed humans were harmed in the filming of this clip.
