This video takes a deep dive into the world of eye diseases such as glaucoma. Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve, sometimes leading to vision loss. We have received expert opinions from Dr. Taiyab regarding emerging questions in the research field of eye diseases, most notably the need for regenerative medicine for noninvasive treatment options.

This video was made by McMaster University students Tanvi Patel, Sara Rafiei, Ariella Boltinsky and Madeline Chan in collaboration with the Demystifying Research McMaster Program.

We would like to thank Dr. Taiyab for his time in answering our questions in an interview style format.
