Happy Easter eta Zorionak Aberri Egunean
Happy Easter eta Zorionak Aberri Egunean.
Happy Easter & Zorionak Aberri Egunean, a day known as Day of the Homeland, the Basque Homeland.
Now always celebrated on Easter Sunday not only in the Basque Country but by Basques around the world. Thanks for this collection of images from previous Aberri Egunak.
To learn more, my friend Nancy from has an essay written by Monica Orbe on her website worth reading to learn more about the origins of this day, Day of the Fatherland or Homeland, Aberri Eguna.
Here is the web address: https://euskalkazeta.com/demonstratio...
But since links are not clickable, send me a DM and I can share the direct link with you.
Drop a 🙌🏼 big cheers in the comments to bring more awareness to the Basque language, the Basque people and the Basque Country.
