I Made Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Fan Art
What I'd been working on: Ghost in the Shell – Stand Alone Complex fan art. Artwork I later converted into Art prints and Shirts.
This piece is a tribute to one of the most iconic and thought-provoking anime of all time — Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I’ve always been drawn to the cyberpunk aesthetic, and the Major is such a complex, powerful character to capture.
I wanted to mix in a dark cyberpunk vice with action and explosions, and of course we needed the Tachikoma and Batou in the piece!. This fan art is my take on the balance between human and machine, freedom and control — themes that feel just as relevant today as they did when the series first aired.
