UP 5307 Z-Train Intermodal With CN Ex-CitiRail North - E. Morada Ln. Railroad Crossing, Stockton CA
(Filmed May 28, 2023) I went out this morning to Morada as I was figuring that the Southern Pacific Patch locomotive form yesterday’s ZG2LT would be on the northbound ZLTG2. I got here much earlier than expected and it wasn’t long wait before things started happening. I heard over the scanner the z-train was going to meet another intermodal at Tomspur so that’s what happened. The train went in a slow order through there before continuing on. Unfortunately no SP Patch unit but instead it was a CN ex-CitiRail locomotive as the lone mid-DPU. This crossing owned by UPRR is a late 2000s install with changes to its lights and gates and the median signals are a late 2010s install with changes to its gates and a light.
