Black Mesa - Custom End Credits Sequence [Concept]
A custom end credits sequence I created for Black Mesa to accompany the amazing credit themes and highlight the extent of Gordon Freeman's journey through the game and his impact on the various locales, allies and enemies. Primarily I wanted to convey a feeling of bittersweet victory in the images, as Gordon's defeat of the Nihilanth and employment by the G-man is juxtaposed by the Combine's eventual invasion and conquer of Earth. I tagged this as a concept because I didn't create an actual working mod for this - it is strictly video editing.

Just wanted to toss up a separate video to highlight this sequence in particular. I essentially just overlayed the in-game scrolling credits over various backgrounds from each chapter of the game, starting from Chapter 3 (Unforeseen Consequences). All backgrounds are meant to capture a scene after Freeman has made his way through that area in the game, with the exception of the Apprehension shark cage, which I simply had to include given the lighting in that shot is just SO GOOD.
