When I found out that the Sunrise to Sunset 12 hour race was happening in Winter Park just a few days after Macky's National Championship single speed race, I knew I wanted to do it. But I didn't want another punishing duo 12 hour experience like Mesa Verde, I wanted to experience racing a 12 hour on a casual, just-for-fun team, like most people do. Since Macky's family was already planning to be in Winter Park to see Macky race, I invited my father-in-law Bob, and my siblings in law Kei and Bo to join me on a five person team. The results were hilarious!
