BATTLEFIELD 5 - LINUX [Steam Play Proton] Gameplay
Battlefield 5 with Steam Play Proton (6.3-6), the Linux compatibility layer from Valve.
(The game is played in Direct11 mode)
The game is running on a I7 3770 + GTX 1070 (see "PC CONFIGURATION" and
"GRAPHIC SETTINGS" below for details).
Note that this video is recorded with a cheap capture card .. The video image is not the highest quality but there is no frame loss during recording.

PC CONFIGURATION
OS: Kubuntu 21.04 - kernel 5.11.0-31 - 64 bits
CPU: I7-3770 3.40GHz - 8GB of RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1070 - driver: 470.63.01
TWEAKS
Disable the compositor .. in KDE you can do that with SHIFT + ALT + F12
In Nvidia control panel disable OpenGL settings : put "Allow Flipping" to disabled
Steam Launch Options
DXVK_CONFIG_FILE=DXVKConfig.cfg PROTON_NO_GLSL=1 %command% -notexturestreaming
(PROTON NO GLSL only tested on Nvidia GPU)
REM TO avoid the very low framerate DXVK bug for the game engine with NVIDIA GPUs:

Add a text file named DXVKConfig.cfg in your game root directory (you can get this by selecting local files Browse in the option of the game in steam client)

add the following text without the quotes
