INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Note: this mod ONLY works on the TaleWorlds version of M&B (NOT Warband); trying to play it on any other version from Steam or GOG will result in crashes. Also note that, without the 4GB patch, the game will crash frequently.
Step 1: Download and install the TaleWorlds version of M&B at
taleworlds.com/en/Games/MountAndBlade
Step 2: Activate the game using your existing Steam or GOG CD key from whichever version you own. Free keys can also be found around the Internet (ymmv).
Step 3: OPTIONAL: Backup "font_data.xml".
Step 4: Download the 4GB Patch from
NTCore.com
then patch "mount&blade.exe".
Step 5: OPTIONAL: Choose an alternative Mexican Commander voice set from Mount&Blade/Modules/1866 Reloaded/Sounds/Alternate Mexican Commander Voices.
Step 6: Test the mod.
