Hey I'm Helena and this is Swisspreneur Summaries, where I take your favourite podcast episodes and compress them into snack sized take -aways. Today's snack is from episode #197 with Daniel Borel, the co-founder and chairman emeritus of Logitech. Yes, you heard me correctly, Logitech, the world's largest manufacturer of computer peripherals. Now I'm pretty confident that every single one of us can remember owning a piece of logitech equipment at one point or another. But the massive scale of this company isn't the most compelling thing about this episode. Daniel was there at the frontlines of a monumental turning point in the evolution our technology, to hear him talking about meeting Bill Gates and how he replied to Apples offer to buy logitech is pretty crazy and you get the feeling that he's kinda like a godfather of Swiss entrepreneurship.
Now, this episode is very much a storytelling episode so I've divided it into 3 chapters: The mouse, Bill Gates and Growing Pains.
