FAQ:
Q: Doesn't it seem like a bug that when using Dynamic Pricing, you have to delete the Task and re-add it to get the system to update pricing based on current Material costs? Shouldn't it just do that when you hit the calculate button?
A: In my example in this video, I had a task with a material tied to it on my estimate, and then I went into PB and changed the cost of that tied material. If I went back to the estimate and hit calculate, it would actually update the task to the new price, but it would not update the cost of the tied material. For the sake of keeping it simple, I chose to show deleting and re-adding the task vs hitting calculate and then manually updating the material on the estimate to the new cost. That's not a bug, it's just how Dynamic Pricing works. It's there to calculate prices. It just runs a formula on the task using the current information it has from the PB. Nothing about running that formula again would cause the material that was already added to the estimate to update. That's not where Dynamic Pricing is looking.
Q: I'm not able to mark materials as chargeable. How do I do that?
A: Support will be able to turn that feature on for you
Q: I don't have the multiple print options (Itemized with price, Itemized Without Price, Aggregated) on the office side, but I saw it in this video. How can I get it?
A: There is a backend feature that support can enable, but it only works with the older invoice print view that is shown in this video. It does not work with the newer, prettier version as of the time of posting this video.
