Approximately 2,700 to 3,000 persons on the move are currently residing outside of formal accommodations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Some live in squats, abandoned houses or tents in the forest. They have been stuck here for weeks, months and sometimes for years, waiting to cross the Croatian border to make their way to western Europe.
C. lived in Belgium for 5 years before being deported to Algeria. During this time he met his wife and had a daughter. He is now making his way back to meet his family.
