In October 2001, the construction of a large church of the Borovlya parish in honor of the Annunciation of the Mother of God began, according to the project of architect V.K. Chirvon in the village of Lesnoy. In 2005, the walls of the church and the dome with a cross were erected.
The Holy Annunciation Church was built in the Russian tent style without a bell tower, but with a belfry. The church was built of rubble stone and brick, 22.7 meters high. A large hipped dome topped with a dome was erected over the central volume. The central volume is adjoined by a vestibule with a porch, an altar apse, a ponomark and a sacristy. A belfry was built above the entrance. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the Holy Trinity Church.
