Sandra and Aiko are best friends and have known each other since 5th grade. The two are extremely close until a blatant breach of trust puts a strain on their friendship.
After Aiko survives a sexual assault, she tells Sandra about it in a WhatsApp message – she is deeply disappointed by the response. While Aiko expects help and support, she feels misunderstood and lectured by her friend. She perceives Sandra's reaction as #VictimBlaming – and has since had trouble addressing this deep hurt 💔
