Iran supplies weapons to Russia in the war with Ukraine!
Washington Post: Iran will supply Russia with ballistic missiles after drones.
The American newspaper, citing its own sources in the Pentagon, claims that Iran and Russia have allegedly entered into a contract for the supply of short-range ballistic missiles to the Russian army and even names them. As stated, Russian missile forces will soon begin striking Ukraine with Fateh-110 missiles with a range of up to 300 km and a warhead mass of 448 kg and Zolfaghar missiles with a range of 700 km and a warhead mass of 579 kg.
According to WP, an agreement in principle between Tehran and Moscow was allegedly concluded back in September, and the details of the deal are now being ironed out. However, there is no evidence of the deal, only a link to some unnamed sources. At the same time, the same sources claim that Iran is preparing to send a new large batch of Muhajer-6 and Shahed-136 drones to Russia. If everyone is already very familiar with the “martyr moped,” then Muhajer-6 is an attack drone with guided weapons, an analogue of the Turkish Bayraktar-TB2.
Meanwhile, other publications, including not only American ones, are discussing the possible supply of Iranian ballistic missiles. True, everything is only at the level of assumptions and rumors, there are no specific statements on this matter. It has been suggested that since Iran has begun supplying Russia with drones, why shouldn’t it also supply ballistic missiles. All this is summed up in the assertion that Russia has allegedly already run out of its own missiles, and it cannot produce new ones due to sanctions. This is where Iran supposedly comes to the rescue with its missiles, of which it has not just a lot, but a lot, including cruise ones.
The Iranian press also pays attention to this topic; one of the publications, published in French, even claimed that the Russian army is already testing Iranian missiles; the strike on Bogorodichnoye in the Donetsk region was allegedly carried out by a medium-range ballistic missile "Khyber Shikan", which has a range of 1450 km. The missile is the latest and was only officially presented to the IRGC in February.
