In this video i will teach you about vector smart object is a type of layer that allows you to incorporate vector graphics into your designs. It provides a way to maintain the scalability and editability of vector artwork within a raster-based editing program like Photoshop.
When you convert a vector file, such as an Adobe Illustrator file (.ai) or an EPS file, into a smart object in Photoshop, it becomes a vector smart object. This means that the original vector data is preserved, allowing you to scale the artwork up or down without losing any detail or image quality.
One of the key advantages of using vector smart objects is the ability to edit the vector artwork in its original application (e.g., Illustrator) and have those changes automatically update in Photoshop. By double-clicking on the smart object layer, it opens the embedded vector file in its source program, where you can make edits. Once you save the changes and return to Photoshop, the updated vector smart object will reflect those modifications.
Using vector smart objects is especially useful when working with logos, icons, or any other artwork that needs to be scaled or resized frequently. It ensures that your designs maintain their sharpness and clarity, regardless of the size at which they are displayed.
