একটি ১ বছরের ছেলে শিশু বাদাম খাওয়ার সময় হঠাৎ করে শ্বাস নালীতে ঢুকে যাওয়ার ইতিহাস নিয়ে আসে এগারো দিন আগে। আমরা ব্রোনস্কোস্কপি করে শিশুটির শ্বাস নালীর ভিতর থেকে একটি বাদামের ভাঙ্গা অংশ বের করি।
A one year's old baby boy presented with history of aspiration of peanut in the respiratory tract eleven years ago days back. We do a bronchoscopy and remove a broken nut from right principal bronchus.

Procedure: Foreign Body Removal (Bronchoscopy)
Indication: Aspiration of peanut 1 month back. Cough since then
Medication: Under G/A
FINDINGS:
ROUTE: Trans LMA
VOCAL CORD: Normal in motion and phonation.
TRACHEA: Structurally normal.
CARINA: Structurally normal but mucus membrane was found swollen, lacerated and having small granulation tissue.
RIGHT LUNG: A foreign body (an intact half part of a peanut measuring 1.4x0.7 cm) was found at the opening of right main bronchus causing partial luminal obstruction.
LEFT LUNG: Structurally normal. No further foreign body was found.
BAL: Taken.
IMPRESSION: Foreign body (Peanut) in right lung (Please see the description also).
THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTION: Foreign body was removed by dormia basket.
