What are the Signs of Social Anxiety? It’s Often Not What People Think.
People often miss the mark with social anxiety disorder. They think it means to be timid or shy or someone who lacks social skills. Some people think it is synonymous to being an introvert .
Although a person with social anxiety can have those attributes, those are not social anxiety disorder symptoms. In fact, you can be a very outgoing, friendly person and still have social anxiety.
