Hinse Mutter - Offered Bach
Original melodies by Frederick the Great and Johann Sebastian Bach
A reworking of the Ricercar a 6, a six-voice fugue written by J.S. Bach after an original theme by Frederick II of Prussia. I used most of the melodical material in it's original form, transposition and appearance in the Ricercar, and wrote different harmonies and rhythms around them. I used almost none of the countervoices.
This is a piece notated in Finale in order to get the approximate sounds I would like for a performance. In a real life performance perhaps different instruments and dynamics would have to be used. Please don't be too hard on the enharmonizations: there's no real point in correcting them and this is just a temporary recording I put together quickly for myself and you to enjoy. Sheet music intended for other people I hold to a much higher standard ;).
Also: I know the quality of the video and audio sucks and the music is not serious. Just for fun people, please have a look at my other stuff ;). If you would like to perform it, please contact me and I can orchestrate you some parts :).
