Pulling for Yelan & Staff of Homa - But I Can Pull Only 103 Times!
I am still saving for Ayaka, but I don't expect her to get a rerun until late spring or during the summer. So, what shall I do in the meantime? I could go for Hu Tao as I like her a lot. But I've been annoyed at the lack of a second Xingqiu a lot, so I decided to remedy that by pulling for the one character who has an elemental burst similar to that of Xingqiu. That character is Yelan. I won the 50/50, so I had 83 pulls left out of my strict 103 pull budget. What did I do with them? I did something that is generally a terrible idea for F2P players........I pulled on the weapon banner exactly 83 times. Did I get Staff of Homa? Do I get Favonius Sword and Rust? What about Aqua Simulacra? By watching, you'll find out for yourself whether I find Great Fortune or Great Misfortune on the weapon banner.
I did end up losing track of how many tenpulls I did, so I stopped after getting the 5-star weapon, finished the initial part of the video before I stopped recording until the wish records updated, at which time I found out I had pulled 70 times, so I pulled 13 more times on the weapon banner before bringing this pull session to a definite close. I might not pull for two or more patches, until Ayaka's second rerun banner finally drops.
For those of you curious, I set my pull budget to 103 Fates because that's the exact number of Intertwined Fates I had when the servers shut down for maintenance for version 3.4. All the remaining Intertwined Fates I have are those I have gotten since version 3.4 began.
Having won my third 50/50 in a row by getting Yelan and after an interesting and very rare weapon banner pulling session, I'm back to saving up for reruns of characters that I really want, such as Ayaka and Kazuha. From here on out, it'll mainly be saving alongside building and improving existing characters as well as pre-farming for characters I really want for when their next rerun comes along.
