As a big fan of 1971's Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Gene Wilder's portrayal of the titular character, this was a treat - I didn't know until watching it that it directly linked to that previous cinematic version of Willy Wonka! Timothy Chalamet is wonderful in the role and it is just such a fun feel good film. I can see why it was popular, so if you're looking for a fun family film for a Sunday, you can't go wrong with Wonka.
