Shooting 7114 Jones Circle St Omaha
Around 5:25 a.m., Omaha Police was dispatched to 7114 Jones Circle for a report of shots fired. Two callers said they heard shots fired with one caller hearing a woman screaming. A caller gave a suspect description and officers encountered someone with that description near 72nd and Farnam. That person fired shots at officers and a help was called. Medics were requested for the possible suspect who was claiming to have an injury. As officers cleared the apartments, they requested a medic for a female found down in an apartment with multiple gunshots. Medics declared this person deceased at the scene. The medic for the possible suspect transported them Code 2 (serious) with a male who claims he was shot by police but no injuries have been found on him.
