Chapter 66 - Standard Proctor Test | Proctor Compaction Test | Light Compaction Test
The purpose of Proctor Compaction Test is to find out the Optimum Moisture Content at which soil achieves its Maximum Dry Density or Maximum Unit weight. Then in the field our goal is to achieve soil density as close as possible to the Maximum Dry Density obtained via laboratory test.
