here’s a new live action anime and it’s the worst we’ve ever seen
Live actions from the get go have a bad reputation already, from entirely swapping characters and story like Death Note, to awful CGI like Attack on Titan and whatever Dragonball Evolution did… ahem anyway
Bet, a new series on netflix which doesn't exactly take the name of it’s anime counterpart, Bet is actually the live action version of Kakegurui, an incredible high adrenaline high stakes gambling series with some grim losses, and it already actually has one of the better and well received live action adaptations, cause if you didn't know, the anime followed the manga panel for panel, so the the live action did the similar to the anime so its as close to the manga as it can, but Bet… oh boy
I'm all for diversity in a series if it makes sense, but this does not, And I'm not the only one, no one asked for this woke american version of a Japanese story based in Japan, with Japanese noble families and their siblings, to be some americanised check box show that is already hated before its out.
