Baked Apple Rings/Apple Fritters from the lovely lady

Ingredients for 4 servings
5 apples
1 lemon
2 packets vanilla sugar
Half a packet clarified butter
2 eggs
200 grams all-purpose flour
250 ml sparkling water
50 grams butter
Icing sugar, cinnamon, and salt
Cut the apples into slices about 1 cm thick (with or without the peel. It's easier to eat without, and with the peel you get more vitamins).
Remove the cores. If you have one, you can use a peeler to remove the apple core.
Mix the lemon juice and one packet of vanilla sugar.
Then separate the eggs.
Mix the egg yolks with flour, sparkling water, and vanilla sugar.
Stir in the melted butter.
Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.
Brace the egg whites gently into the egg yolk mixture.
Heat clarified butter in a pan.
Dip the apple rings in the batter and then fry them in the clarified butter, like schnitzel.
Then drain them on a little kitchen paper and dust with a mixture of powdered sugar and cinnamon.
Then enjoy!
