Police Harassment Despite Moratorium on Fracking
So despite the fracking moratorium the police continue to spy on residents in site at New hope resistance.
Fracking is not over so please dont allow those NGO groups to celebrate on your behalf - not yet, there is much to do.
It would appear however though since the deployment of only 2 plo (blue bib, police liaiason team) and 2 constables a day is a little bit of a lie isnt it, a wee porky perhaps, Keith Ogle silver command springs to mind when thinking of wee porkies, he told the community that there would be no reason to fly a drone over residential areas now there is no activity.
Yesterday saw the police request consultation for looking into gaining more powers in terms of encampments, this seemed to be aimed at the traveller community, but also is something else to bear in mind, if there is one thing we know, its that the police dont do anything that isnt for further use against you, ie evidence, words, smiles, looks, you name it.
Have a look at these out playing with toys, the drone was up from 1440 hrs and spent its time hovering over shacks, following folks around the area back and forward to the kitchen.
Its nothing short of pure intimidation and harassment, we would complain but who would listen ;)
