Excel Shortcut Keys for Navigation and Selection 2020 | Excel Tutorial
Learn some useful shortcuts that you can use to navigate around data in a spreadsheet. Some of the shortcuts demonstrated help you to quickly highlight or select blocks of data on a sheet.
Knowing and using these simple shortcuts save users lots of time as using the keyboard is quicker than using the mouse for the same task.
The shortcut keys discussed are in two categories and utilise the following keys in sequence. The arrow key chosen is dependent on which direction you wish to navigate to or select data from:
1. Moving around the spreadsheet data - CTRL + (APPROPRIATE) ARROW KEY.
2. Selecting or highlighting data - CTRL + SHIFT + (APPROPRIATE) ARROW KEY.
