Excel tutorial | How to Insert Subtotals in Microsoft Excel data
Learn how to use subtotals in lists of data. Using this technique can save us time in summarising data. Microsoft Excel automatically inserts SUBTOTAL formulas within the data and groups and outlines the data. Together, these make it very easy to see a summary of the data - not matter how large the dataset.
The SUBTOTAL function not only uses the SUM function, but can also use AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, MIN and a few others.
