In this video, I take a look at how to split text in Excel using formulas.
The main formulas we use for this are:
1. FIND - to find the position of a specified text within another text string
2. LEFT - to extract a given number of characters from the beginning of a text string
3. MID - to extract a given number of characters from the middle of a text string
4. RIGHT - to extract a given number of characters from the end of a text string
5. LEN - to calculate the number of characters (length) contained in a text string
